Default high hydrocarbons b16a2

ok so I went back to finish getting BAR'd. I put a new cat on like 6 hours before my appointment.

I passed emissions but barley. all numbers were good but my hydrocarbons were at 91 when my max was 92. this is on a brand new cat out of the box.

turns out the cat wasnt 2009 legal so I have to buy the right onw and go back. what could I do it get my hydrocarbons down?

b16a2, AEM CAI, blox intake manifold with hondata gasket. stock manifold, 2" piping with stock muffler no resonator brand new cat.

my plugs have like 4k miles on them. and im almost due for an oil change. what could help me?
im running 91 octane if that helps at all

How do the cap and rotor look? How old is the O2 sensor? Have you checked the ignition timing with a timing gun and/or adjusted valve clearance?

Have you checked the ignition timing? If not, I'd do this first.

timing is dead on. I had to put my stock cams back in about a week ago so I know timing is good. could be be in bad need of a valve adjustment making it throw high hydrocarbons?

ive had this motor in 5 different cars and ive driven it hard, never had a problem with it just drove it hard

Are you talking about mechanical timing or ignition timing? They are adjusted separately.
