Default Feeling the Vibration

what's up. i am having a problem with vibration around the pedals and the front of my car. i just put a gsr in my 99 si and it seems to be vibrating more than usual. what could be the problem and what are my options? also i am trying to pass emissions so how many o2 sensors do i need to have hooked up?

yes you need them hooked up. if you dont your car wont run as good either. vibration could be that your motor mounts are pretty stiff. get used to it, it feels good

did you use the same ob2 ecu?

i kept the ecu for the b16. how many o2 sensors am i going to need though? and the motor mounts are stock and brand new...so is this vibration just something that will go away once the mounts are "broken in"?

its running with the b16 ecu fine though so what's the point?

With a B16 ECU how is your secondary butterfly working? Also, the B16 ECU is for a B16, not a B18. The B16 ECU is made to run on an engine with a different stroke, deck height, compression ratio, displacement, etc. It's plain and simple, the B16 ECU is not designed to run a B18C1.

It's running "fine" of course, but if all you are satisfied with is that it's running and don't care that it's not running optimally, why did you even swap the engine?

Do it right, or don't do it at all.
