Default Rota Slipstream 16X7 offset question. 45+ or 40+?

I have a 92 4 door LX. I'm wanna buy the Rota Slipstream's in the near future but not sure if I should go with the 40+ or 45+ offset. I don't know much about offset. Which should I go with and why? I plan to lower the car with Skunk 2 coilover suspension and the tire size I'm getting for the wheels is 205/45/16. thanks

45 is the recommended offset for a Civic. The 40 offset will be 5mm outer so it's more likely to rub under heavy load or cornering, but it might work just fine, too. I'd go with 45 just to be sure.
