Default ZDYNE LAUNCH CONTROL

hey guys i have a zdyne gold secu in my freshly built crx, dohc zc

i know i know, obd1 ftw bull... but i have some stuff to figure out first, i have a chipped p06 crome zc map, obd1 harness and new dizzy but im getting code 9 (bull) and its running like **** and getting hot...... not good on my new motor

for now...

zdyne works great, rev limits etc... launch control wont kick in... do i NEED to be running a boost map for the launch? it seems that way, i click "enable launch" and set the limit, and never a thing... i know nobody with use of these ecus, hopefully one of the 0340239480293402943809 members on here will have some answers, thanks in advance

no reason why it should have to be a boost map to engage the 2-step. this system doesn't require you to like hit a button to temporarily engage the lower rev limit does it? i know i saw a msd type unit that had this. if its anything like an aem ems it should be monitoring the vehicle speed and allow the temp rev limit to engage only while you're at a stand still and then be immediately removed once you accelerate past 0. how this system decides when it can initiate launch control though i am not sure on. you may want to contact zdyne if you can't get it figured out.

Looks like you got a pretty nice setup coming together..

but yeah zdyne is pretty much dead and for that matter so is obd0..

im reading and lookin around tryin to find out why the launch control wouldnt be working.

i know you said you dont wanna hear it but maybe you should convert to obd1, so many tuning options with it .
