Ebay HID suck ass
Okay, I bought a set of hid for my 93 civic= no high beem. They are worthless (IMPOV) because they glare alot when it rains and u cant see crap. My buddy seems to like his for some odd reasons...maybe because he's got the name HID in his car...Everybodys got their POV.

yet another testimonial as to why HID kits are crap.
But you should have known you would have lost high beams. You can only keep those in an H4 application if it's some sort of "bi-xenon" kit with the solenoid that moves the bulb.

i think i am the only lucky one that got a decent kit of PnP HIDs. Got the bi xenon hi/lo. They make a nice straight line on the wall in the garage. Only problem is the high beam is worthless. low is bright enough
i got four 6000k hids use 2 for fogs which are in my bumber lights and i can see perfect even with tint on my windshield at night or in tha rain.did not buy on e bay.. but they are pnp...

my crappy hids lasted 4 years and one died a little while ago. Bought another kit from a local shop for 80 bucks with a one year warranty. if they last a year I got my moneys worth imo. if I don't like them that much I can always just plug in some oem style lights in seconds for around 20 bucks.
lol...good thread. I have 2 HID kits. One for drl's and one for my projectors. Both from ebay. They have both lasted me a bit over a year with no problems yhet. The HID's in the projectors are pretty good at night, better than my OEM were atleast. I'm getting a 3rd pair of 10000k for my fogs. I don't have much complaints bout ebay kits, guess it depends who you buy from but most of the mare the same...and if they last 2 yrs it's worth it, compared to the cash it takes to get OEM kits...my neighbor payed likie $2000 for the HID option on his volvo truck.....and the difference between his and mine is not much. I like mine, but depends if you have projectors or not, what color temp you're workin with, how you aim them in my POV. I'm down to try buildong my own retrofit on my next car (rsx-s I hope
)

I bought some Shitty halo projectors with a clear cover, I removed the LED halos and LEd lights
Put 2 Hid kits in there 10k for the Low Beams and 6k for the High Beams they work Better then i could have imagined.
Thanks ebay ~.~
