I need a new carb for my civic but i have had my fill with the stock carb, at least on this model year. I cannot get the vaccuums right. Will a carb from an 86-89 accord work? any other honda carbs that might bolt up and run the car?

 

None of the 3g Accord carbs are going to be any easier. And are probably not going to be jetted properly to run right on your car. I don't even know if the jets are changeable in those carbs or not, or if they're cast. Your best bet is to pick up a Weber 32/36 kit, it will come pre-jetted and and with an adapter kit ready to bolt right onto your car. If you're feeling adventurous, slam a Weber 38 on it. Will give you gobs more power!
