Default need help. plz?

so i have a 93 accord ex.(f22a6) i recently put on some headers and ive been having problems since then.

ive been hearing this kinda loud (not too loud but noticeable) grinding noise coming from thefront. i checked if the headers or the down pipe were rubbing on something but no sign of anything.

so i pretty much checked everything i could think of and the grinding noise still remains,

im concerned i messed up something in the head, or engine...

any ideas what it could be?

thanks

Unless you dropped one of the exhuast studs or nuts down into the head. Putting on a header won't cause any harm to your engine or disrupt anything that would start grinding.

When do you hear the grinding noise, All the time, or only when you are driving?

If it is doing it all the time you should be able to pinpoint where the noise is coming. Start the car, let it idle and open up the hood. See if you can track down where it is coming from.

Can you take a short video of it and post it? It will give people a better idea of what your hearing.

Did you have to move the alternator or ac condenser to get the old exhaust manifold/heat shield out ?

Are you hearing a very quick, kind of raspy ticking? If it is then that is the sound thin walled steel headers make under acceleration. Vs the quiet of the thick cast iron walls of the OEM exhaust manifold. If you really want to be sure you could put your OEM manifold back on and see if the "grinding" noise goes away.
