Hey guys I just got off ebay an they have a k24a1 complete engine w/ out tranny with 66k miles on it for $600! Good deal? the description said the intake manifold needed to be replaced, that's it. Now to my understanding i can drop the k20a, a2, z, z1 head no problem. RITE? Could i bolt my ep tranny rite up to this k24a1? Does it matter if the k24a1 is auto? With all of that done, i just need kpro an then i could slap that bitch in rite?

 

I know blue print is having a blow out sale on all their K24's

give um a call I'm sure with this economy they've sold few to none

 

i dont think you should buy it it can maybe have problems but that is just me

 

the a1 and a4 aren't that expensive. The k24a2 is the pricey one cause it's the best k24

 

Well all I want is the block I'm gonna slap the k20 head on there anyways, an the engine has a 90 start up warranty. Its been thru compression an oil pressure tests, and says it's in working condition. So for 600 bucks I don't have much to lose. So would I be able to throw the k20 head on this block, an can I bolt up my ep tranny to the k24a1 if it is an automatic?

 

It's my understanding that you can only bolt up an a2 head to the CRV block, but it won't work on the accord k24 block without altering internals.
