Default serious ? ek hatch

okay so my ek is having some problems when I use the p28 ecu it used to run good but now it starts to want to turn off on me and it bogs alot I will let you know right now that the PCV valve is not hooked idk why is that important where could I get the tube that goes to it? oh and Im doing a complete tune up on it friday will this help it run smoother?

i dont believe that pcv system not being hooked would matter.

I heard that if its not hooked it will idle bad and maybe even bog but I honestly would not know?

A clogged pcv could cause some hesitation and bogging. When you say its not hooked up, are you saying the hose going from the pcv to the manifold is not there? You can use a regular vacuum hose from an autoparts store. Its all the same. Just won't be precurved. Not really a big deal tho.

What engine are you running? You're engine stock? The ECU maybe chipped before and not tuned for your particular setup?

Im running a single cam zc block with a d16z6 head mini me set up after market headers a aem intake cat back exhaust and test pipe should i get my ecu tuned to my set up? and I mean there is no hose to the pcv valve

I wouldn't hurt to tune it. But honestly, just start with a tune up. Get everything done and get the pcv hose and go from there. Any cel's?
