Which Distributors Work with a Y8 Head?
I recently picked up a D16A6 with D16Y8 head to put into my EG, but it didn't come with a distributor, so I'm wondering which distributors I could use and if all Y8 distributors are the same.

If you're dropping it in an EG use a D15B7/D15B8 distributor, bolts up perfectly and its OBD1. In terms of exactly what bolts up to the head though heres the list:
D16Y5
D16Y7
D16Y8
D15B7
D15B8
SOHC non vtec ZC (OBD1 and OBD2 versions)
'96 - '98 and '99 - '00 D16Y7 and D16Y8 distributors use different plugs so no not all Y8 distributors are the same.
