Default Plug wire issues

Alright, so evidently my problem wasn't solved. After Vtec engages on my H22a the 3rd piston spark plug wire just shoots off, not with a high velocity, just enough to disconnect it from the spark plug. Ive put new wires on twice, changed the valve cover seals where they open for the plugs, and rotated the spark plugs, PCV is hooked up fine. so i know its none of those.

could it possibly be timing? while the engine is on there is no pressure felt when i put my hand over the hole with the plug wire off.

im stumped.

any ideas?

It's possible that the spark plugs are not making a tight connection with the head and when the cylinder goes up to TDC (most likely during the compression cycle) it shoots up the spark plug wire.

Ive taken the plugs out and cycled them around, wouldnt it be that one spark plug thats letting pressure past? its always the 3rd cylinder.

Maybe the head is warped or the threads are messed up on the third cylinder.

Possibly a cracked head at the spark plug threads letting combustion pressure by and popping the plug wire out.

well, my problems fixed now, i took the spark plug wire cover and put a piece of foam under it to hold them down, it works fine now.

the weird thing is though, when i pulled the dust cap back it still popped off. so it cant be pressure pulling it off.
