battery relocation question
96 accord ex f22b1
im planning to relocate my battery to the trunk and im trying to figure out how to extend all the positive and negative wires.
ive already got a 4 gauge power wire going from my trunk to the engine bay. but what gauge wires do i use to extend the following:
-negative going from the tranny to the negative on the battery. or can this just be taken straight to the frame?
-negative going from battery to frame
-positive going from the starter to the battery
-positive going from the fuse box to the abs box
-positive going from the fuse box to the battery
-also with the battery in the trunk can i just wire the negative of the battery straight to the frame or does it to need to be reran to the engine bay also.
anyone got any tips on how to wire this setup?

Use the smallest gauge possible. Relocating it will make it harder for the battery to power/recharge things if the wire is to small and could start a fire. Even if you use a very large wire, you are still going to lose some power. You should also add another inline fuse.
You also need to make sure that if the battery isn't a dry cell that is sealed like an Optima then you need to make sure the battery is SECURED and unable to move. All I would do is just run the wires from the battery to the bolting points of the battery wires on the car. (The power wires that attach directly to your battery as of now.)

ive also figure that i can just wire the old negatives(tranny to battery) straight to the factory ground bolt and the negative on the battery in the trunk straight to the trunk frame where i used to ground my cap. im gonna use the stock wires for the ground in the engine bay and some 4 gauge wire for the ground in the trunk.
also gonna use my old anl fuse from my system to put next to the battery for the power wire. should be about 1 foot from the battery. but will this mes up the way the starter works? ive noticed the way it is hooked up in stock i cannot see a fuse between the starter and battery.
You really need to use 1/0 guage for the grounds if you relocate it. The ground is just as, if not more important as the positive side. You can ground it to the body just make sure it is a real connector not bare wire and it is bare metal the connector is touching. You also might wanna go up to 1/0 guage for the starter wire since it has to go so far now. really the bigger the better here.
4 gauge is way to small for 10 feet of wire to the battery.
You really dont need to wire anything differently. All you basically are doing is extending the wires to the battery. Do as Muffin said.
