Relocation of battery
Just curious to how many of you relocated your battery. I did mine today and I am curious to how you wired together the original power cable to the new one, I just twisted mine and wrapped it in electrical tape and zip tied it to the brake lines to secure it. I ran my power wire to the shock tower on p/s in the rear. I didnt use a battery box, I will buy one soon, instead I used original battery tray in my truck and screwed it into my wood set up in the rear. Just curious to how others have done this and if I am in the wrong forum area let me know.
I relocated my battery to the trunk of my car.kinda went over kill on the wire i think.I ran 2 gauge wire from the battery to the front where i mounted a distribution block.from there i ran 4 gauge to the fuse box.my car is wire tucked so i wasn't to sure what size wire to use.I friend of mine that installs car audio recommended this set up to me.

Holy Ghetto. Dieing to modify your car huh? I'd be interested into your rationalization of such a 'modification'. On the other hand...you are driving it, not me.
The only thing I will say is: The OEM battery ground wire is SHORT for a reason. This is something that needs to be taken into rather serious consideration.
