I have a 1996 civic coupe with a gsr running turbo the d series driver side mount was fabbed to fit the motor in but now the mount is bad can I just order a stock 2000 civic si motor mount and bolt it in instead of paying hasport $270

 

yes...however you need to purchase the bracket that bolts to the side of the motor in between the cams you have to take the valve cover, cam cover and crank cover off to replace this bracket (have to pull crank pulley for last one) the part is available online for around 47-60 bucks (get the studs also) you also need the pillow mount bracket that came off of the d series engine the one that connects the motor to the car you took out.

What is the part ur talking about from the d series mount?? Can I buy it at autozone also

 

its the mounting bracket that has the single hole at the top and 2 holes at the bottom that connect the motor to the frame sorta like and s shape and no you cant get it at autozone....
