Weird O2 Sensor Issue
I have a 99 Civic EX.
Supposedly my car has a "99" B18C1 engine, but here's my problem.
I'm completely confused because the O2 sensor that is down by the catalytic converter isn't hooked up. The wires were apparently cut for whatever reason by whoever did the swap before I owned the car. I don't throw any codes or anything, never have. But the thing that confuses me is that shouldn't I be throwing some type of code for an O2 sensor?
I'm curious about what could be the reason(s) as to why my car doesn't throw any type of code for that O2 sensor not being hooked up (ex: it's actually obd1, it's tuned, etc....).
Thanks!
