GHETTO FIX: stab filter w/ screw driver as close to the back of the filter (away from the block) and turn. Screwdriver = universal filter removal tool.

You will get dirty. This is last resort. Take other car or get ride to auto parts and find the right tool instead.

calm down buddy gust get a rag and grab that thing and trun for all your wouth if that dont work, if you got one get a jar opener/small peice of rubber and that should help you get a grip and those fram grip filters work wonders(no need to look for a sspecial tool next time or the time after that and so on)

I would not use any tool to tighten the filter, just hand tighten. Yeah, oil always gets on my axle, and exhaust manifold . But I can change my oil in like 5 min now

you wont have any problem changing your filter with the oil level full. Just spin the filter off and make sure that you have a drain pan or something under the filter area. You will only lose the oil thats in your filter and maybe a little more from the block and oil return passages.

You can put oil back into the engine without having the filter on. Oil will not run all over the place... Just pull the filter and change it then add the proper amount of oil back and you'll be fine

since everyone just wants to flame..... if you dont drain it oil will pour out all over you... best to drain before you change... or if you just had an oil change id just hold off until time for the next one to put it on.
