yeah.. it all depends on your R/T and 60ft .. i've seen Type R's run 16 becuase the driver RT and 60ft was so horrible. 14 is not impossible, in fact it should be in the low 15's already.

A stock civic Si with a b16a2 runs mid 15s and it weighs hundreds of pounds more than an EG...

yes the car will be capable of atleast 15's, it is the driver that will be the variable.

you should be below 15's....motor ran a 15.5 completely stock in a coupe that weighs WAYY more than the EG hatch....however, they prolly had a great reaction time, prefect conditions...blah blah blah....but with a good jump, you should be just below 15's.....

My EJ with a B18C1 and B16 transmission only runs 16s, so I'd say there are a lot of variables.

Build the car, run it, then come tell us what it ran.

I ran a 15.6 in my B16A EJ2 at Englishtown last year with all seasons on it and it was my first time at a track, ever. Its nothing to brag about but it is more than possible to reach that goal.

I believe that depending on where you live, your times will vary. It seems to me that the vehicles here in Wisconsin dont run as quick of times compare to else where. Also, somebody said that your 1/4 time will be affected by your reaction time. I thought that your reaction time did not effect your 1/4 time because your time did not start until the car moves.

don't be nervous, it's when you're nerves get the best of you when failure occurs. In my old 4 door i had a b16 on 10 psi at the time from a t3/t4 turbo, i launched off the line and broke one of the retainers for the needle bearings in my inner CV joint, causing my car to start wheel hopping real bad, i left off and then said **** it and got back in it and ended up running a 15.08 @ 99 mph, imagine how embarassing that was when your car looks serious as **** and is running open downpipe and everyone is expecting to see 12's out of it and that happens hahahaha good luck

It should run mid to high 14s with a good driver and in good running condition.

What the f**k! I ran a 15.1 at the track with a ****in single cam! If you don't break 15's with a B16 in an EG hatch you should leave the Honda game and pick a different hobby.

That single cam was probably a factory freak. They always turn up every once in a while. Like stated before Mid to High 14 second ET's is what you should get if you could drive and the car is in good running condition.

Exactly!

That **** should hit atleast a 14.5-15.0. Maybe even a low 14 with a good driver. Get a good clutch and practice launching and timing the lights and you should be good. Most of the kids on here never been to the track or know anything about it. Good luck with your car man.

Your reaction time does not affect your 1/4 mile ET. The clock doesnt start until you move.

Different tracks and altitudes are going to effect your 1/4 time. If your close to sea leave its going to run faster then someone at 1600 ft. If you can find someone locally with the same setup they would give you a more accurate idea of what you will run. Your first time at the track try to focus on find the best way to launch your car. Don't set your expectations too high and just have fun.
