Hey well im building a mild single cam setup d16z6 motor a6 pistons stage 2 crower cam d16y8 intake manifold with ls throttle body i was thinking of installing a dc airbox as the stock eg intake arm wont go over the larger ls throttle body i cant use a dc arm on the eg airbox since the hole is smaller has anyone done this mod and don't tell me to get a cai or sri thats all crap i want to build something like the ice box or mugen intake.

 

It does fit actually, the 2 ends of the intake arm that fit on the throttle body and air box are the same on all D and B-series engines as far as I can tell. the tube section size differs though. I think your ideal solution here is to use the intake arm from a Del Sol Vtec.
