Default Help - Clearance for 26" Slicks

I just mounted a set of Welds with M&T 26x10-15's on my car (91 CRX with Integra steering knuckles). I'm noticed the tight clearances between the top of the slick and the upper ball joint. I'm concerned that when running the car down the track, the tire will "grow" and hit the ball joint. What's everyone doing to minimize or eliminate the problem? The only thought I have is a set of wheel spacers to move the tire out from under the ball joint. Thoughts???

What's the offset of the wheels?

Remember when the tire grows it gets more narrow too so the clearance might not be an issue.

Yeah, we were discussing that. At the moment the ball joint is "inside" the width of the slick (if that makes sense). It's tough to see from the pic, but the upper ball joint is above the top of the slick about an inch from the sidewall. I haven't measured the wheel offset, but I need a 1/2" spacer for the wheel to clear the outside of the caliper (this pic is with a 1/4" spacer). I think I need about a 1" spacer to move the ball joint off to the side of the tread.

How far above the slick is the "upper" ball joint? Can you find out the wheel's size and offset? Will you take more pics of the car? Id love to see how these look from the outside.

The wheels are Weld Import Drags, 15"x8" with a 4" backspace.
