Default question about 99-00 conversion

Hey guys I am looking to buy a 98 hatch, and I would really like to do the 99-00 conversion. I know that I will need to convert, headlights, hood, front bumper I plan on purchasing a real bys bumper. My question was are the fenders the same, or do I have to get 99-00 fenders, also if there is anything else I am missing please let me know. Thanks

fenders are different, headlight shape is what makes them different

stay with the 96-98, 99-00 are overplayed!!!

My question is can I still use the bys bumper even tho it is still a 96-98 front end I see that the bumper says 96-00 so I would assume it would. I am still partial to doing the conversion because I like the look of 99-00 better I think and I will be getting the car painted so I want everything perfect.

I now see that there are both a 96-98 bumper and 99-00 front bumper this is what I figured, anybody have some pics I could see comparing the two front ends with the bys bumper on the car. Are there any differences between the 96-98 bumper and 99-00 bumper besides fitment by headlights and fenders

no you cant.
the 99-00 headlights are bigger, so the bumper would not fit. you need a 99-00 bumper
also the gril.
it doesnt really have much do with it but 99-00 have little pocket looking things where the fog lights go and 96-98 doesnt.

I have a 97 ek with the 99-00 front end casue i like it better, fenders, bumper, hood, headlights, and grill. If u wanna run with the knock off CTRs off ebay u can buy those. Just remember when u buy a front lip to get a 99-00 one lol..

I do not plan on rocking any replica/knockoff parts. After looking I think I will be doing the 99-00 conversion with the real ctr head lights, bys/airwaler front bumper.
