2000 CRV blower wont shut off ????
My wifes CRV wont completely turn off the heater/ AC blower. The switch will slow it down, the A/C won't turn on until the switch is turned to about half way on and it will activate the high speed relay (little click heard by blower) when fully turned on. Where should I start diagnosing?
I tried swapping the blower relay under the hood, nothing changed.
Is there a write up somewhere about to remove the dash to get at the switch panel?
TIA

Try hitting the recirculate button first, then turning it off. It allows the door to fully close. It may or may not help you, but try that first.
The bower is "always hot" with the ig switch on. The speed is controlled on the ground side of the circuit. There is a blower resistor screwed to the duct right behind the glove box. This may be shorted. disconnect the connector or better yet, remove it from the duct and do a visual on it. An answer may present itself.
I'll check that out today. The A/C doesn't work either, the compressor isn't engauging. The light on the button works, but no cold air. Hopefully it's all related.
