I am compiling my parts for a swap and I have a couple of questions. I have a odb2a motor b18c1 and I have a motor harness from a previous swap that I bought and never installed, I would like to identify this harness. I know it is a b series harness. How could I Identify if it is a odb1 or 2 or whatever, is this even possible for a harness? I think it is from a b16. lastly I am putting the swap in my ef so I want to use a odb1 ecu. Can I use my original odb0 harness in the car with modifications? or do I need a odb2a harness to match the motor or a odb1 harness to match the ecu? Any help is appreciated.
TIA.
TIA.
You will use your stock harness, and then get yourself an obd0-1 ecu jumper and distributor adapter. i recommend rywire, but many sites offer similar obd0-1 conversion kits.

if your car is not an si or hf, then you will also need to convert your stock harness from dpfi to mpfi.

You will be able to use your obd2 dizzy, but you'll need to switch out the obd2 plugs for obd1 versions.
Lastly if you want to use the gsr's injectors, then simply delete the resistor box. remove it, and solder the 5 wires going into it together.
