put a 93 b16a jdm in my 97 civic

the alternator from the b16a the plug is diff so my harness wont clip into it...

what can i do? can i cut & splice or is there a certain alt i need?

i allready rewired my dizzy & injectors

 

i know there is a thread in here somewhere showing an alternator repin. i just cant remember where it is.

 

cut it and splice it. do u have the plug for the alternator

 

yes i have the plug... but the wires dont match up does it matter?

 

If I'm not mistaken the alternators are the same size and all simply swap the other one out and replace it with the original one that came on the car...dont quote me on that but I recall my friend doing this on his car.....

 

well my car is a dx so i had a dx d16y7 motor and i tried puttin that alt but doesnt fit correctly

what must i do just to rewire the obd1 clip on there ?

i need to know how i rewire the obd1 alt plug so i can use my obd1 alt ?
