how to retention a timing chain tensioner ???

i have a brand new tct and its in the open position i need to get it back to how it was shipped to me with the little metal retaining clip? anyone know how???

take the metal cork screw piece to a hard ware store match it up with a half inch bolt, put the bolt threw the hole of the tension and thread it into the cork screw. as your turning the bolt the piston will retract. than pop the pin
