New clutch/flywheel breakin period?
I was told 500 miles, however I wanna race at the track on may 31st. Dont think ill quite make 500 miles in 2 weeks, any advice/experience/badstories on not waiting the full 500 breakin period? thanks. car specs in signature needs to be added- eclutchmaster six puck stage 2 with ACT prolite flyweheel.
wait the 500 miles...i know brand new cars are 1000 i would actually wait that....just do some random unnessecary driving to get the mileage up....lol....easiest way
The mileage has to be city driving, not highway cruising. I think whats most important is getting the clutch material warm then letting it cool naturally. Its like breaking in brake pads.
thats what i figured i would have to put 500 city miles on it. thanks for the info so far.
