JDM b-pipe is slightly longer than a USDM b-pipe.

That's mean that won't put my header+JDM cat converter with my USDM midpipe without another modification!?!? Do you know how slightly longer it is???

IIRC...
jdm 4-1 header- jdm cat- jdm catback.
jdm 4-1 header- stock length test pipe- stock cat back.

That should bolt up to the stock US midpipe. I had a Toda header (JDM "size"/length) and OEM JDM cat, and it bolted up to my stock midpipe ok.

Edit: If you have the parts already, why not just try it? If it doesn't work, you'll know right away.

I'm pretty sure it'll bolt up fine. Can anyone else confirm?

no it won't. like i said, the jdm cat is 12", usdm is 18"..............thus, your piping is going to be 6 inches short. just use your stock cat and have it modified to bolt up to the header since the collector is 2.5"

Ugh, I think it's been too long since I had all that **** in my hands. In thinking this through more and remembering other ****, I did need to use a test pipe because the cat wouldn't work.

I can confirm that the JDM midpipe is approximately 6" longer than that of its USDM cousin. My setup goes 96 spec JDM header -> Custome lengthened test pipe (Lengthened 6") -> T1R 63s catback.

I also notice that because of the length differences the hanger bracket for the midpipe is in a different place so mine had to be cut off and rewelded.

My exhaust setup is a 98 spec 4-1 manifold + T1R JDM Length Racing Converter + Buddy Club Spec II (I believe all BC exhausts are JDM length). Everything bolted up fine and is of correct length.
