How often do you check your coolant level? Is it ever low?

Like Kronn said, check your coolant level often, this past weekend me and my brother were able to find the root of his overheating problem, a small leak that came from a small hose that connects to the iacv, it was way deep in there and had to disconnect like three other hoses to make room. I'm not saying this is your problem but might be something like this. Also check your radiator specially if it's the stock one and do a flush, see if that helps.

Real quick here (I'm a newbie, but only to this site)...

Check cylinder head. Also, less likely, but check O2 sensor and air filter.

have you had this problem since you went turbo? definitely do a cooling system flush to get the old crap out if you haven't already. some people have had good results using redline's water wetter. it's possible the water pump is going if there hasn't been regular cooling system flushes; there were pics floating around here a little while back where the guy's water pump literally had no fins left on it to churn the coolant.
