anyone put the 2007 honda civic si seats into a 92-95 civic hatchback? or does anyone know if they will fit? what modifications needed?

any info would be nice. thanks

It has been done before but it requires a bit of custom fabrication/welding. There is no way to just bolt them in. Plus in my personal opinion they are a bit too big for an EG or EK...

It's the same bolt pattern as the '92-'00 Civics, so no, they won't bolt directly in.

 

any pics of them just bolting straight up to a 92-95 civic

 

Pretty sure they just told you they will not bolt right up. you need to do some work to get them to fit.

If you are an experienced welder you can cut an re-weld the brackets to get everything to fit. Are you aware that you can swap in s2000 seats with little work and have an OEM fit?

 

yeah but i cam get a hella good deal on the 07 si seats so just wondering if anyone has put them in and has any pics or write-up on how to do it.

Here is a link where a guy explains how to do it for some EP3 seats. It would be the same process for the 06+ Si seats...
