Icon7 Cammed h22 flyby vid and a question

http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoid=57293951

Ok so here's the question. When I accelerate going around long right corners such as off ramps, my engine produces quite a bit of whitish smoke. Like sometimes when im off the ramp some of it will come through the fire wall. And when I get on it afterwards there is a bit of smoke coming out my exhaust. This only happens when Im pulling some g's though. Anyone else ever have this problem? The only reason why it kinda bothers me is that I'd like to do some autox events with the car soon. This is on a partially built and tuned h22a1 btw. Thanks guys

Coolant leak in the engine bay and also headgasket leak if your description is accurate. Do a leakdown test to confirm the headgasket.

ok I'll look into that. It would suck because I put a cometic head gasket in, arp head studs and had my head resurfaced a bit ago :/

Do the leakdown test before anything. What do you mean white smoke comes through the firewall?

there's this off ramp that I get on practically every day, and a couple of evenings ago I took it kind of hard and ended up stopping waiting to merge because of backed up traffic. The sun was shining at an angle that i could see a bit of the smoke floating around in the car and I could obviosly smell it as well. When I say "hard" I dont meen that Im flying around this thing either...I was right around 4omph. I just wasnt sure if it was a common issue that I should be worried about. Other that that the car is running fine

is there a specific odor to it? coolant has a very distinctive (kind of sweet) smell to it.

naaa i know what coolant smells like and I doubt its that because I lose zero coolant since the rebuild and i bled it this winter. Im leaning more towards oil because i've been leaking about a tennis ball sized puddle wherever i let it sit. I've been under the car multiple times and i have nooo freakin clue where its coming from. Its on the back of the block, below the intake mani but above the oil cooler. My bell housing is always coated in oil :/

distributor o-ring, leaking to the top of the tranny's bellhousing and dripping down under it. thats your oil leak, dunno about the coolant issue if there is one.

that's not in the distributor, i just call it that and im not sure if thats the correct name. its the only oil passage into the head on the tranny-side

that might be it. I just went out side to look under the hood and it is in that general area. There are oil splatter marks on my coil mount, the heater hose, on the lower radiator hose, the whole way to the reverse light sensor, and tranny case. That would make sence that its the vtec solenoid rather than the distributor because with the distributor it has two wide faces that mate together...I just dont see how it can spray out in that many angles. I replaced all the gaskets on the vtec solenoid and the part that goes up against the head was not honda bonded so I guess I'll tear her apart in the morning and soo what happens. Thanks
