I went 13.3 @ 104 in a basically stock revhard kit on a bone stock LS motor in a 2600lb integra. before I went turbo I went 16.0 @ 86 w/ IE so it made a 2.5seconed difference for me. only upgrades ive made after the kit were 3" exhaust, BFG drag radials, and an ACT clutch.
ive raced alot of GSR turbos and pulled off better ET's many times. usually the mph is around the same too. I would tell u to stick with the LS motor and boost it to about 11psi. in a CRX w/ revhard kit on an LS at 11psi and slicks i could definitly see that going 11's.

the LS is cheaper and a good motor for boost, but it is not better than the gsr.

Well you can run more boost reliably on the LS with out resorting to super expensive tuning devices, and as stated if you blow it an LS is going to be cheaper and easier to find.
Sorry guys.. I'd rather run 1 - 1.5psi less on the GS-R longblock (due to SLIGHTLY higher compression) and gain about 45-50hp over the LS that is able to run a whole nother pound or so of boost because of a half point less compression.
Put out more HP at what cost? you can boost an ls upto 12psi with only average tuning I doubt you would go past 10 on a GSR without great tuning . So they would be producing the same kind of power.
you can see 280-300 hsp on pump gas on a stock gsr. its pretty difficult to do that with an ls. plus, the difference in rev limit alone makes the gsr the better motor. 8200 vs 6900. not to mention the flow of a gsr head over a ls. gsr.
