Vafc2 help
Well i have one laying around, and was thinking about installing it. Now the question i have is since i have a chipped ecu running a base map, would the VAFC2 ruin my basemap. Could it help me get more power, or help in any way. I want to know because i dont want to mess anything up. Any help or ideas would be great...

it sounds like a bad idea for you mainly because you have no idea how to use it. with a wideband the vafc2 can help fine tune your AF. if it were me i would sell it and use the money to pay for most of a real tune on your chipped ecu.
i know what im doing with it, i street tuned the car with a bud of mine, and i have a wideband and all. Im asking if the unit would mess my street tune at all, as soon as i plug it in. Cause its used and im not sure if the settings on it are still there. On top of that would i get anymore out of my car.
if you install it follow the setup and set all the corrections to zero. itll run the basemap until you change the correction percentage. if you have a wideband you can use it w/ the vafc to further tweak your basemap. but if you already street tuned it w/ a wideband you dont need to, dependng how well you guys tuned the first time.
we tuned it the first time very well, running a little rich still just to be safe. Also i dont have any of the instructions, cause i got it from a friend of mine. does any one know of where i can get them?
Dude, if your looking for instruction...chances are that you don't know how to tune it properly...Take it to a dyno, and have them run car with the setting at zero on the vafc...have them find your crossover on your chipped ecu, and then let them fine tune you air fuel ratio.
