does anyone know what is californias state standard for california emmesions testing, its been a quite since ive gone, more than year i would say....

Pretty much anything you do to your car is illegal in california---that goes for stickers too!!!!

 

how often am i supposed to go? i never went when i bought my accord, it was a "family" transfer... but i think im do, i think... so i just wanna know how often.....

 

Usually it is every two years.. Wait till you get "Test Only" which is more strict than the regular smog tests---to weed out the older car. Two out of my three cars got "test Only" this year---think that is random? Uhmmm I think not!!!
Got test only on my:
88 accord (yes the turbo one) so that is basically going to turn into a track car.))
78 el camino (totally stock, but for some reason I always get "Test Only" on it --which I think is Unfair.)
and my 97' accord, just regular smog test--probobly get "test Only" next time around--knowing my luck..
