Default tranny situation

i found out my problem and it was that my bearing popped out thats y i couldnt shift into 4th...
now im wondering if i can use and 88-89 si tranny in my 90 crx
is there a difference between them as in lining up or is it to small etc.

89 si transmission will work

no idea what your original engine/tranny is from your post, but assuming it is all stock stuff then YES, it will bolt right in.

^^^ya like he said, as long as its cable and d series then yes it will work, no questions asked. would be logical to either replace, or upgrade your clutch at the same time to save you the headache of having to do it again
