Last Saturday night between 2-6am
My friends del sol was stolen from his neighborhood in Kendall, Fl.
Please keep an eye out for parts online that might seem suspicious

Sorry for his loss. I'm taking a wild guess that the car didn't was't protected with a security alarm or kill switches? If not....there's no excuses....especially to have a K swap under the hood.

Why pay for security when you could spend it on a motor? 
Unfortunately some people think it won't happen because of the chances involved, or because their car & parts are too identifiable. You'll only find tiny numbers secured cars get molested AND taken, while most unsecured cars that get broken into are never seen again.

Its just ignorant to spend 5k on a motor swap and not secure your stuff. Sure, stealing is wrong and it shouldn't happen, but thats not the reality. And if you put that much money into a car, lojack should be in your monthly expenses.

Honestly folks....if you have the cash flow to have fancy rims or motor swaps, please invest in a decent alarm system. That will be the best money you will ever spend on your car. I know it's a tad bit late in this situation, but car thefts can be lessened if people take more consideration about protecting their car.
