Hey I wanna buy an 89 civic wagon.. Buy the thing is I'm not sure what kinda tranny it uses.. Cus the tranny to the car grinds 2 and 3.. I was wonderin does any one kno what kinds tranny it takes or how to fix it? Also it's a 4wd.. So I hear the tranny is a 4wd tranny for Honda.. But I'm not quite sure what the name of the tranny is called and where I can get a new one at... If anyone kno.. That'll be a big help...

 

It's an 88-91 RT4wd civic transmission.

That's more then enough information to find the correct transmission. They share very similar codes to the 2wd models (L3 transmissions coming in both varients), so just use what you already know.
