Default light wiring question

Is there any way i can get my bumper lights to act as both running lights and turn signals? I want my corner markers and bumper lights to act as running lights, instead of just the corner markers.
Could i just run wires off the corners to the bumper lights?
Much appreciated.

Well, there are two ways to do this. Most factory lights that have a turn signal and running lights in the same housing usa a dual filiment bulb. You could swap out the socket and bulb and wire parking lights to one side of the bulb, turn signal to the second. The second option is to wire up a relay to the existing parking light. What you will be doing is using a relay to "break" the connection to the parking light so it will be turning off and on when the turn signal is used, solid when the turn signal is off. The only draw back to this method is the running light will only act as a turn signal when the parking lights are on.

To do this, cut the positive wire to the parking light bulb and run it thru a relay, one side of the wire to the #87 pole of a SPDT relay, the other end of the wire to pole #30 of the relay. Next, take the turn signal wire (+ from turn signal bulb) to #85 of the relay, and ground to #86.
