Fogged up headlights. Kind of a DIY
So while my teg is down I decided to take the headlights out and see what I could do with them. I have seen the sanding and wax trick be for. But I am broke and dont have any of the stuff for it. So I seen what I had around the house. I had two rubbing compounds both turtle wax. The first was a their "regular" stuff. I also had the heavy duty. Well the regular sucked. I used the heavy duty and they came out great. My drivers side head you couldnt even see the "projector" in the low beam. So here is what I did and used
Rubbing compound
A old sock for rubbing
Damp rag for wiping them off
Dry rag for drying them off
I took the sock and got it wet and put the compound on it and started. used the wet rag and wiped it off to check it out. The dry rag to dry it off
My drivers side headlight had a crack in the housing so it had water inside. So I baked it in the oven to get the water out and clean the inside. I put it in for 10 minutes at 250 degrees. took it out and it came apart easily I don't have any before pics but if some one wants the after product ill take them.

so does your head light still have a crack in it? or did you replace that one? if not, how did you repair the crack in the light?
