Default NO OIL In OIL FILTER??????

I dunno if anyone can help me or not, just recently got my car up and going, have about 6 low boost (25psi) passes on the motor. I have changed my oil probably 4 times, the first two times it was normal, when I took the filter off oil would come out. The last 2 times the filter did not have much oil in the filter at all and none spilt when the filter was taken off, I have never seen this. I went to a event last weekend and made a shake down run and on the return road I could here a little chatter, sounds like its coming from the bottom end, but checked all bearings and they are good. Going to do a leak down tomm, I am using a golden eagle filter adapter, wondering if anyone has delt with this before, this is some weird stuff going on. Oil pressure is good as well.

same brand oil filter?

there is a flapper valve that should stop the oil from draining out of the filter for the most part

how long did you let it sit before you pulled the filter? Some filters drain the oil back.

Trying starting up the car for a second with no oil filter on, it will be messy but you will get an answer for sure.

That wont tell you anything, put a oil pressure gauge on the engine

i think its just draining back and the flaper valve is checking the rest, i usually dont get much spillage if the engine hasn't ran in hours or days. .

Depending on how long the car sat, and at what angle the engine sits in the car it drains back in.

I seen it many times with different cars and different filter.

IMO is nothing to worry about.
