Crazy CRX LS Swap Problem
I've searched the web high and low, no one has a problem like this.
Okay, 91 crx si, b18a1 out of 90 integra.
Basic LS swap, nothing unusual, basically followed the online guides.
Had the thing running perfectly, driving around fine for a few weeks, then all the sudden she died on me.
Getting good fuel, good spark, compression in all cylinders.
New timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, the works.
Seems i've checked everything, still no start, tried new ecu, no-go.
Main relay is good, timing is dead on.
Something had to have gone wrong as I was running it, that's the thing that's got me confused.
I think it has to be an electrical problem, anyone have an idea where to start?
Or possibly other suggestions? Help please.

i had a problem like this on mine the dizzy went bad and it melted the rotor and it moved so it was still getting spark just not at the right time and wouldnt start. aslo check to make sure it didnt jump timing.
what happened when it died? did it just not start one day or did it lose power while driving? does the ecu light come on when the key is cycled?

okay. i have tried everything. just put in new dizzy, you can see flames coming out of the intake manifold from backfiring i suppose, when you turn it over, but wont start. obviously its getting spark fuel and compression. IT IS IN PERFECT TIME. why wont it go??
okay, so i think i had the dizzy on upside down, like 180 degrees wrong if you know what i mean.
but i fixed it, and now it sounds like it really wants to start, its sputtering and the temp gauge starts to work for brief seconds, but it wont actually start. oh, and when i hold the gas in and look in the intake manifold i can see fire.
the new dizzy definately contributed something though, so any ideas what next??

if its blowing fire into the intake manifold it sounds like your cam timing could be off... but you said you checked that. Maybe all the failed starts flooded the motor?
Okay. Thanks for all the help, after a few tweaks i got it running with the new dizzy.
The old one had an internal melt down or something and WAS sparking, just at the wrong times.
