Well fellas I hate to say it but i purchased my shifter on December 29th. Its been almost 5 months and haven't heard anything from the guy who makes them. I'm starting to lose hope, theres no excuse for letting your customers know whats going on. He said I was 4th in line for his ss and if the wait was too long he would email me. If 5 months isn't long i don't know what is. A simple email would be great, at least act like you car about your customers. I'm patient but goodness this is ridiculous. Any comments

 

hmm.. I know I might be a little late on this 1. But I was actually thinking about getting a ss from them. Do you have any updates?

 

I baught a forbidden shifter for my old 4th. gen lude, 3 weeks n contact. paypal refunded me. there was a group buy for pspec on 6thgenaccord.com. i love my pspec.

 

Does PSPEC have a ss for a 94 Accord? How's the quality?

 

They are discontinued for the Accord.

I had a Forbidden in my Accord and loved it. I suggest you contact him directly and verify and talk to him before ordering. I had mine to my door in 3 weeks but contacted him on Honda-Tech prior to purchasing on his website. He makes them from scratch on a per order basis.

 

Looks like I might do that then. Hopefully I don't ripped off like some of the others I heard about.

I personally have a Forbidden short shifter on my honda accord. My girlfriend bought it from them, she said it took like 3 weeks. Also she told me that was the last SS for an accord he had in stock. This is all hearsay.

I personally have heard rumors about him, and that he doesnt really know the meaning of customer service. If you are late then you should keep contact with your customer.

I should not be complaining but I know how people would feel, especially when it is a company or presents themself as a company.

5 months in my book is too long and unexceptable.

 

Yes, they do! Pspec for the 5th Gen Accords are Top Notch! I'd go with a Pspec over any other short shifter. They go for $210.00 shipped but sadly they discontinued it like themuffinman said. I bought mine brand new and right before they discontinue it too. Now they are just rare to find. Now you are lucky if you come to someone who is about to sell theirs.

 

ok, I know this isn't what you are going to want to hear but I've recently read that jeremy has and is known for falling off the face of the earth. I can't say anything bad about him or his service because I received my shifter within a week of contacting him about availability and pricing. he responded to me in one day and upon his reply I ordered it on the same day. I got it to my door in Hawaii three days later. I have also heard many good things about him but recently they've all been negative. my boy tried to order one a few months ago but the site wasnt accepting orders. I have also heard of people paying in full like you have around the same time and haven't gotten anything either. I don't know if you can be refunded since he isn't replying to you unless you used paypal. I'd try and get your money back. pspec shifters will work but you need to change out your shifter assembly to the plastic ones found in 98-02 accords. i haven't personally done this but I heard it bolts in and operates perfectly fine. before buying the forbidden ss I was running the whole assembly from a 92 prelude. the mounting holes aren't perfectly matched up with the accord but I just bolted the forward two bolts and just stuck the lower two bolts in, pushed on it unt it was straight and zapped it down with an electric impact. I have no problem removing and reinstalling this assembly at all how it is right now and t be perfectly honest, the prelude shifter felt exactly the same as he forbidden ss minus the weight difference. hope this all helps man.

 

oh and if you go on acurazine in the first gen cl (i have a 97 cl) forums there are a few write ups on how to install the prelude stick into the accord base. I myself don't like that method for numerous reasons but it might be an option for you. sorry for writing so much. peace.

 

This is very frustrating. Especially since you know a person or company has something you want and you have the money. But their customer service is out of wack. I"m seriously just thinking about chopping a couple inches off my shifter, welding it back together, and using my crappy ss adapter.

 

Hrm, was going to order one to replace my short shift adapter.

Guess I will have to message him and see whats the deal first.

So I talk to my girlfriend today, who bought me the shifter for christmast. She stated that it took a month to get it. Also my bestfriend who helped her order it, had to call him to confirm that she will receive it in time. Dont know how many times he tried contacting the guy.

and got no response from him which i
guess it's excepted.

Now guess i have no choice but wait as PSPEC
discontinued bb4 short shifter and i do not wish
to do a conversion to use their bb6 short shifter.

 

nope, haven't heard from him since last year I emailed him a couple weeks ago with no response so I'm taking it for a loss and moving on unfortunately. Maybe one day Ill get it or maybe not, only time will tel.l

 

aww... i have given up hope on forbidden motorsport now.
The website is down as well. Anyone know how much exactly
work is to change the shift base of a 4th gen to a 5th gen so
i can use PSPEC SS?
