ok so i recently put a new motor in my car and now im haveing problems.
first id like to mention the things ive done to the car before i acknowledge the problem
-ported head
-converted from obd0 to obd1
-virgin p28
-hooked up every thing on subharness of obd0 to obd1 jumper except the scs wire, knock sensor, and the o2 sensor(o2 bung wasnt big enough for it to screw in)
now heres my problem:
since this is a 94 z6 out of an ex, i cant remember where the piping from the iacv goes back into. i know the pipe closest to the passenger side of the car goes to the fitv thing under the t/b but where does the other go??? secondly when i converted to mpfi, it was reccomended that you switch the 2 outer wires on the tps which i did. but it idles up and down from 1000 to 1500. and ontop of that the 2 vacume lines ontop of the t/b are not capped off or anything.
why when i step lightly on the gas does the car wanna die but when i remove my foot it goes back to running but still displays the same symptoms??? and also the port on the inside of the t/b has a STRONG suction and when i cover it with my finger the car idles REALLY low or flat out dies. plus when the car is wot it sounds like it is in 2 step mode??

well its idleling like that because you have a vacum leak if the vacum lines arent caped off. the second coolant line goe to that tube on the back of the block that goes from the water pump to the thermostat housing. definatly fix the vacum first. not haveing the iacv hooked up will make the idle bad too.

but why wen i step on the gas pedal the car basically shuts off or unless i let back off the gas then it stays running. or if i let it idle for a minute or two i floor it and it goes into a 2 step simulation and stays 2 steppin at 1500 rpm's
