what was the difference you found out? rod length or piston bore?

alright, to make it easier on you i will just tell you that the difference is in the stroke, the 1.5 has a 84.5 stoke where the 1.6 is a 90. so taking those y7 rods and pistons and putting them in then d15 block would ensure a heavy make out session with your pistons and head

well if u think your piston beating the **** out of the bottom of your head is good then go for it but if u are like some of us here and think metal slapping around is bad u wont.

your compression will drop to around 7.9:1. what is the reasoning behind wanting to use the y7 internals? its pretty much a waste of time. what are you lookign to do? raise or lower compression?

The best thing for you to do man is just to either, buy another single cam OR take the pistons off the y7 rods and put them on the d15b1 rods. because if you think just putting the y7 pistons and rods in a d15b1 block is going to run right then your wrong!, thats going to be valve tap from hell! Then your going to be out of a perfectly good head and bottom end.

but the y7 pistons will drop the compression giving him less power
