hey guys i have a sohc zc in my sol and it was running fine the other day and all the sudden it started struggling to rev up it sounds like a hellacious mis fire it is currently boosting a 5 pounds and running open down pipe i need my car running right by tuesday i will pay pal 15 dollars to the person that can tell me whats wrong

change your spark plugs. it could be an ignition issue

 

I say its dizzy. make sure that it is secure and all plugs and cables are good

 

Definitely want to check plugs/wires/distributer, the basics of the ignition system. Check your CEL's as well. Might not hurt to pull wires while it's idling to see if a certain cylinder isn't firing at all.

 

....does your car sound like a "helicopter", lagging and moving slower than "running on 3 cylinders? If so.....IT'S YOUR SPARK PLUG WIRES.

I had that problem when I was running MSD wires. Switched it out with stock Honda wires and it went back to normal. MSD spark plug wires SUCK!!!

 

a spark plug wire came off of the car im driving but with the previous owner, he said it sounded like a subaru
