Cannot start my engine!! no because of the Battery! Help ! thanks sosososo much!
its a civic 06 sedan
I parked my car as usual, and once i try to start it yesterday, the starter keep " kakakakakkaka" sound but no response from the engine! then i test the battery, it has 12.4 V with should be enough for start. also the electrics inside the car runs, but just a bit weired. for example, when i push the Panic on the key, it will not as loud as usual, and it becomes "Beep-----beep----------beep----------" but not "beep beep beep" which is usual.
and when i roll up the power window, it runs but it stop a second after it roll a bit up and stop a while and up a bit until to the top.
CAN ANYONE HeLP or expericened this before??
Thanks so much for any comment or advise!!!

12V doesn't really mean much if the battery can't generate enough amperage to crank the engine. If the battery is only making 100 amps @ 12 volts, it's not going to start.
Your battery is likely dead. Chances are that you left a door ajar or a map/dome light on.

Not sure if your car is still under warranty, but jump start and have the dealership replace it.
similar to my problem. forgot to turn off my headlights and tried jumping my car wouldnt work. baught a new battery still wouldnt work. Green Key inthe cluster kept blinking. Immobilizer not reading. Crank crank crank start and shut right off. immobilizer got reset and wont read the key, i had to tow my 06 civic to the dealer and get the keys reprogrammed. Hopefully thats your problem. Cost me total of 210$ including battery cuz my car had more then 60k and wont cover he battery.

Did you even bother to try jump starting it or do you just want the car to sit around dead?

My immobilizer light was on an blinking, So i called tons of dealers most said they need to diagnose the problem but the dealer next to my house already knew what the problem was. to get the keys reprogrammed cuz the battery went dead and reset everything. it was a defect only on 2006 Civic. By Vin# only.
