Default HID problem help!!

this is the second pair i bought that the HIDS that i by work on other cars but not my lude. i have the stock lights and they work fine when there on... i just wanna rock so nice lights and the stock lights are not too bright any help will do thanks!!!

First try to make sense. But I'll try and help since any help will do ... when you buy used HIDs, make sure that everything works, that the bulbs/ballasts are not fried, and that the wiring is all there and not melted. Is this a Plug-n-Play kit or is this a real Retrofit HID setup ?

its good the took then off his car after he showed me they work but the problem has to be the car i always have light trouble

Two options; first one is simple. Flip the plug going into the ballast, so that it's plugged in backwards. Halogen bulbs don't care which wire is positive or negative but HID kits will. Simply flipping the plug on the ballast side will flip the polarity. 98% of the time, that's all you need to do.

If that doesn't do it, run a relay harness. There's always that slim possibility that you have that one car that absolutely requires one. In general it never hurts to run a relay harness anyways.
