Hello everybody ,I have a a problem with a 5th gen 2.2 vtec,
tiptronic ,bb8 chasis prelude.When driving I noticed that the
speedo and rev counter were both at zero the abs light was on and the gear indicator light was dim,the car lost drive but by putting the car into manual I got onto the hard shoulder where the car stopped,the battery seemed flat ,sat there for half an hour car starts and completes the journey,this has occured 5 times in the last 2 mths,it seems to happern on long trips 40 miles or so ,but not around the town,voltage on batt is 12.6 with engine not running and 14.4 with engine at tickover,battery and alternator checked by local guy with 3 diff meters said all ok ,any ideas what is going on any help would be greatfully recieved
