The cable goes to a latch mounted on the passenger side door bars. So it meets requirements

you can legally do it using only 2 posts also. After having 2 kill switches go bad on the "small" posts i stopped using them

here is kind of a crappy picture that i will try and illustrate.

I have the battery positive coming to the one big post and the on the other big post i have my alt+, starter+, ignition+,fuse panel+ coming out and going to their respective locations.

If you search around i am pretty sure there are a few 3 plus page threads discussing ways to wire a kill switch.

AAA got ya!

It isn't a big deal i have mine mounted in the center of the car too.

SCCA club is weird. It has to be within XX inches from the window, but you don't have to be able to use it strapped in..

SCCA pro requires it to be within XX inches of the window AND you have to be able to use it strapped in...

I don't think NASA has any limitations on the placement of it.

Mine's in the back corner of the passenger window, mounted on a gusset on the roll cage (I don't have any pics of it, I'll try to get one this week). I bought a bicycle brake cable and housing, and ran it from the switch to a handle velcro'd next to my parking brake handle. Corner workers can access it quite easily, and I can cut it while strapped in if I feel the need to (hope I never need to).

Can you add some more info on how to do the brake cable idea? Im looking to run 1 switch from the center console and one on the side vent next to the window for the corner workers.
