91 Civic clutch cable?
I put an ACT XTSS clutch in my turbo'd Si and got an obviously stiffer p/p and pedal feel.Well on my way home Friday night I pushed in the pedal there was a "pop'' and the pedal went to the floor and stayed there. I'm guessing the cable broke. My question is does someone make a heavy duty cable or will a new OEM cable be enough to fix the problem,or will this continue to happen?

i havnt heard of anyone making an aftermarket cable. i know places like autozone and oreillys has their brands, but compared to the oem, they suck
it could be your clutch pedal pin.. happened to me. my battery slid over and prevented my clutch to be moved and broke my pedal pin. its a bitch to get to but a simple screw or nail can fix it. but you do want to check what made it snap in the first place.
the pedal pin is an "axle" that connects your clutch cable to your pedal that is located on the top rear of your clutch pedal.

It is slightly longer, therefore may have less tention on the cable.
It was like $47 or so at Acura
One thing to remember is that your stock cable is nearly 15+yrs old...
When you get your hands on a NEW oem one, you;ll be able to tell the differnce what kind of ware & tear your old stock one has gone though.

Please explain how the length of the cable will affect tension.
100lbs of tension on the end of a five foot cable is the same as 100lbs on the end of a 6 foot cable. In fact a longer cable will be weaker.

Well I'm not sure on the science behind it.
Hasport told me to get DA for my hydro-conversion mount kit.
I remember the stock EF one worked for the kit but I really had to pull down on it hard to get it to fit the kit.
