Can anyone explain to me what I have to do to swap my 97 abs unit with a 98+ abs unit...I'm taking my car in for paint and I'm gonna throw on my hid jdm headlights...my 97 abs unit is too big, I'd rather swap it with the 98-01 unit instead of relocating my 97 unit or getting rid of it all together...

im swapping my abs unit due to my new jdm hid's...

most people that have swapped to the jdm front end have swapped solely for the appearance of their car...that's why i posted here, im sure people with swapped jdm front ends have run into the issues that im running into right now...

anyway, if anyone could help with the swap info that would be awesome...if this needs to be moved or deleted a mod can do so...

 

Understandable, but you are asking a tech question regardless of your final intent--you are retrofitting an ABS unit. Just trying to point you in the right direction.
