Is your exhaust ever blue? Are there oil slicks on the driveway ever?

Places to check would be

oil pump seal
oil filter
cam seals
distributor seal
oil pan seal and drain bolt area

Maybe you have an old oil filter seal still stuck on between the block and your new filter

my friend said something about this, and no i dont see any smoke at all, white or blue. Also no i am not leaking anywhere, i thought maybe i had this problem went under my car with a roll of papertowels and rubbing alcohol and cleaned everything up. Went back 2 weeks later and still perfect lol.

It seems like my engine is burning it up somehow.

Well if you have no leaks than its burning it for sure. Oil consumption sucks, but happens on older engines in need of a replacement seals or rings.

It burns oil as lots of other cars do. Not really a big deal, especially if it's consuming 1 quart or less per 1000 miles. Just get into the habit of checking the oil level every time you fill up with fuel, and add oil as needed to keep the sump topped off. Burning oil isn't necessarily a problem, but allowing the oil level to constantly run low is a problem.

ya a nightmare happened about a year ago, when i knew hardly anything about cars but loved crxs haha.

my oil light came on and i went to my friends house that works at pepboys. we jacked the car up and i opened the oil plug. ABOUT A LITER OF OIL CAME OUT. He looked at the oil catcher and started laughing hysterically. And still til this day cannot believe that I was driving my car around for about a week with the light on before we changed the oil HAHA!

same here. i always thought my car running rich had something to do with consuming oil. but at times i think my car is running fine just leaking oil when its really hot. maybe the oil its too thin? its got 134,000 miles.

That doesn't sound like too much of a problem.. you should replace the rings to be safe.

couldnt agree more! i know an O.G. (actual) honda technician and he said the very same thing. not to worry, just keep a eye on your level.. I tend to put in about half a quart every 1000 miles on my B16.. no biggie
